BTS - Pearlessence Serum Spec Ad

Ever wondered what goes on in a creative agency like ours when we decide to just have a bit of fun with what we do? Well, let me take you through this cool project we did with the Pearlessence Brightening Facial Serum. We didn’t have a client asking for it; we just saw this product, thought it looked interesting, and wanted to see what we could do with it.

Before Anything: Choosing the Serum:

Why This Serum? It all started with a simple trip to the store. Among all the products, the Pearlessence Brightening Facial Serum caught our eye. We had no background with it, no client requests, nothing. It was just us thinking, "Hey, this could be fun to work with." And that’s all we needed.

Coming Up With Ideas:

Next, we got together and threw around some ideas. “How can we make this serum look cool?” That was the vibe. We sketched out some rough plans — nothing too fancy, just enough to get us all on the same page about making this product shine.

Picking the Right Gear:

Choosing the camera and lights was like gearing up for a mini-adventure. We wanted to make sure we could get those up-close shots that make the serum look as good as it does in real life, capturing every little detail.
The Fun Part: Making the Ad

Shooting the Serum:

Production day felt more like play than work. We played around with angles and lighting, trying to find the best ways to show off the serum’s look and feel. Our goal was to make anyone watching think, “I need that on my skin, like, now.”
All About the Details: We zoomed in real close to let the texture and glow of the serum do the talking. It was all about making sure those watching could almost feel the serum without even touching it.

Wrapping It Up: Finishing Touches
Putting It All Together: After we had all our shots, we sat down to sort through them and piece together the story we wanted to tell. This part was all about finding the perfect flow that made the serum the star of its own show.

Adding the Magic:

With some music and maybe a few effects to spice things up, we wrapped up our project. It’s not just about making the serum look good; it’s about feeling the vibe of what skincare and self-care are all about.
